Joshua Groth leads the enterprise-wide AI Fluency and Change Enablement programme at Riverty (Bertelsmann Group), covering around 4,700 employees with C-level sponsorship. Joshua Groth is an AI transformation expert and researcher. At Riverty, the financial services arm of the Bertelsmann Group, he leads the enterprise-wide AI Fluency and Change Enablement programme, covering around 4,700 employees with C-level sponsorship. He built the five-stage AI Fluency Scaling Model, the AI Fluency Index, and a multiplier network of tool experts and AI ambassadors.

In parallel, he conducts doctoral research at the ISE Chair, TU Darmstadt, under Prof. Dr. Alexander Benlian, investigating the mechanisms that make enterprise-wide AI transformations last. Before moving into AI transformation, he delivered international transformation programmes for Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Truck, Volkswagen, BMW and Volvo across more than 20 markets as Senior Consultant at STAR COOPERATION, and advised businesses across DACH for Google at Accenture in Dublin. He was named to the HORIZONT 40 under 40 in 2026. He lives at Lake Constance and works in German and English.
